Jung-In and Ji-Ho's relationship takes a turn as they both struggle with their own personal conflicts in Episode 7 of One Spring Night. Jung-In's father, who she has always believed to be her biological father, suffers from a heart attack and is rushed to the hospital. This leaves her questioning her own identity and the truth about her biological father.
Meanwhile, Ji-Ho has his own issues to deal with as his ex-girlfriend contacts him, wanting to meet up and talk. This leaves Ji-Ho conflicted as he still has feelings for her but also cares deeply for Jung-In. Throughout the episode, Ji-Ho and Jung-In try to navigate their own personal struggles while also trying to maintain their relationship.
As they both try to figure things out, they find themselves drifting apart. Jung-In seeks solace with her childhood friend Young-Jae, who she has always had a close relationship with. Young-Jae proves to be a strong support system for her during this difficult time.
As for Ji-Ho, he becomes more distant from Jung-In as he tries to figure out his own feelings. His ex-girlfriend comes to visit him, and they share a heart-to-heart conversation. Ji-Ho opens up about his past relationship and explains to her that he has moved on and is in a committed relationship with Jung-In.
Later in the episode, Jung-In and Ji-Ho finally have a much-needed confrontation. They both express their emotions and their struggles, and they ultimately make a decision about the future of their relationship.
