In "One Piece" season 6 episode 348, entitled "Appearing from the Sky! That Man Is the Humming Swordsman!," the Straw Hats continue their journey to Fishman Island. As they fly through the clouds on their ship, they suddenly spot a flying object heading towards them. To their surprise, a man with wings appears before them.
This man introduces himself as Kin'emon, a samurai from the Wano Country. He explains that he was pursuing a thief who stole his friend's samurai armor, and ended up on their ship by accident. Kin'emon then proceeds to demonstrate his impressive sword skills by slicing the thief's ship in half when it appears nearby.
The Straw Hats are amazed by Kin'emon's abilities and his unusual appearance, which includes a topknot hairstyle, traditional Japanese clothing, and absent-minded personality. However, Kin'emon is more interested in finding the thief who stole his friend's armor. He reveals that the armor is a prized possession that belongs to his lord, and losing it would dishonor his family.
The Straw Hats agree to help Kin'emon track down the thief, and together they head to an island where they believe the thief might be hiding. Along the way, they encounter various obstacles and enemies, including a group of giant monkeys who steal their food and a gang of pirate hunters who mistake the Straw Hats as criminals.
Despite these challenges, Kin'emon remains determined to find the thief and retrieve the samurai armor. He also shares more about his past, including his connection to another Wano samurai named Momonosuke. Kin'emon becomes emotional when he talks about how he failed to protect Momonosuke and his family from a rebellion that resulted in their deaths.
As they continue their journey, Kin'emon and the Straw Hats eventually locate the thief and engage in a fierce battle to retrieve the armor. Kin'emon's swordsmanship impresses everyone once again, as he effortlessly slices through his opponents and uses his special ability to create clothing out of thin air.
After the battle is won, Kin'emon expresses his gratitude towards the Straw Hats for their help and promises to repay their kindness in the future. He also reveals that he is actually a retainer of the Kozuki Family, a powerful clan from Wano that was overthrown by the current shogun.
The episode ends with the Straw Hats bidding farewell to Kin'emon as he departs on his own journey to find Momonosuke and avenge his family's deaths. The Straw Hats continue towards Fishman Island, eager for their next adventure.
