Ep 88. Zoan-type Devil Fruit! Chopper's Seven-form Transformation!

Zoan-type Devil Fruit! Chopper's Seven-form Transformation! is the 88th episode of the second season of One Piece anime. The episode begins with the Straw Hat Pirates reaching the Drum Island, where they meet Dr. Kureha, who takes care of a very sick young girl, Princess Nefertari Vivi. Meanwhile, the crew's doctor, Tony Tony Chopper, is amazed by the exotic plants he finds in the island's forest. However, he is also disturbed by the presence of humans hunting the reindeer living in the forest. The crew learns that Wapol, the self-proclaimed king of the island, has declared hunting as an official sport.

As the Straw Hat Pirates try to catch up with Wapol, they meet a group of people who share their concerns about the island's situation. These people introduce themselves as the Drum Island Reindeer Herd, a group of semi-human reindeer that Chopper is excited to meet. The reindeer tell the crew about the power of the Zoan Devil Fruits, which can transform animals into semi-humans with special abilities. Intrigued by this power, Chopper begins researching the Zoan Devil Fruits.

During his research, Chopper learns about the Rumble Ball, a special drug that enhances the powers of Zoan Devil Fruit users. The drug can unlock hidden powers and allows the users to transform into new forms. Chopper decides to create his own version of the Rumble Ball, hoping to use it to transform into new forms and unlock his full potential. He spends several nights in his lab, working on the Rumble Ball and testing it on himself.

Finally, the day of Wapol's hunting contest arrives, and the Straw Hat Pirates decide to participate, hoping to win and put an end to the hunting. As they enter the contest, Chopper decides to use the Rumble Ball to transform into his Seven-form Transformation, which includes six animal forms and a human form. Thrilled with his new powers, Chopper begins to dominate the contest, but soon realizes that the Rumble Ball's effects are temporary and dangerous.

As the Rumble Ball's effects wear off, Chopper loses control of his transformations and becomes uncontrollable. The crew tries to help him, but Chopper runs away into the forest, where he meets another Zoan Devil Fruit user, a large and powerful buffalo named Dalton. Dalton reveals to Chopper that he used to be a human, but transformed into a buffalo after eating a Zoan Devil Fruit. He encourages Chopper to embrace his true self, and not to fear his transformations.

Meanwhile, the Straw Hat Pirates face a challenge from Wapol's men, who try to cheat in the contest and steal the prize. The crew fights back, and Luffy faces off against Wapol himself, using his new Gum-Gum Bell attack. In the end, the Straw Hat Pirates win the contest, and Chopper returns to his senses, having learned to control his transformations. The episode ends with the crew leaving Drum Island, wishing Princess Vivi a speedy recovery, and promising to meet again in the future.
