Ep 471. The Extermination Strategy in Action! the Power of the Pacifistas!
- October 17, 2010
The episode opens up with the crew of the Thousand Sunny in a state of shock after Kuma's attack. They see Apoo, Kid, and Hawkins, the three supernovas, huddled together in the distance. They realise they have just witnessed the broadcast of Kuma's "pacifista" attack on their fellow pirates.
The episode then cuts to the Marines discussing their latest plans to execute the war on pirates. Vice Admiral Garp is called upon to talk to the troops. The Marines believe that they are on the cusp of victory, and that they will be able to defeat the pirates with ease.
Kizaru suggests bringing in some "pacifistas" to help them out, which is met with skepticism from some of the higher-ups. Admiral Sengoku disagrees, saying that he wants to see them in action before making any decisions.
The scene then shifts back to the Thousand Sunny, where the crew discuss their next move. Luffy suggests that they go to the island of Amazon Lily, where he can be trained in the ways of Haki. The crew agrees, and they set off.
Upon their arrival, they are greeted by the fierce female warriors of Amazon Lily. They are also told the story of the last outsider who arrived on their shores, and how he was turned to stone. The crew is warned to be wary of any contact with the women of Amazon Lily.
Meanwhile, the Marines have put their plan into action, and have deployed a group of pacifistas to track down and capture the pirates. The pacifistas are humanoid robots, designed to be almost invincible, and their arrival spells trouble for the pirates.
The next part of the episode follows a tense battle between the pirates and the pacifistas. The pacifistas are shown to be truly formidable opponents, with the ability to shoot laser beams from their eyes, and also to use physical attacks.
The crew of the Thousand Sunny is initially caught off guard by the pacifistas and their attacks. However, they soon realise that the pacifistas have a weakness - their laser beams take time to charge up, leaving them vulnerable to counter-attacks.
The pirates work together to take down the pacifistas, with Luffy leading the charge. They are able to find a way to outsmart their robotic opponents, and eventually emerge victorious.
The episode ends with the pirates celebrating their victory, while the Marines are left wondering how they could have possibly been defeated by a group of pirates. It's clear that the war between pirates and the Marines is far from over, and that there will be many more battles to come.
