On The Job is a Philippines crime thriller television series, which premiered on 12th September 2021 and is currently streaming on HBO Max. The show is a premium action drama which is based on the award-winning film of the same name. The series features an ensemble cast including some of the most respected film actors in the Philippines such as Leo Martinez, Joel Torre, and Piolo Pascual.

The story of On The Job takes place in the Philippines where corrupt politicians and businessmen use prisoners as hitmen to carry out their dirty work. The twist in the tale is that these prisoners are temporarily released to commit the assassination and then go back to their prison cells as if nothing happened. The show portrays the harsh realities of the Philippine's political system, the illegal drug trade, and the prison system in the country.

The series follows two main storylines. The first storyline focuses on a seasoned journalist named Sisoy Salas (played by John Arcilla) who is investigating the hitmen-for-hire syndicate. Sisoy is a dedicated journalist who pursues the truth no matter the cost. He is determined to uncover the masterminds that are behind the crime wave that has gripped his country. He is joined in his investigation by the show's three main characters
