- April 30, 2000
Doremi is excited about the new bridal catalog that has been released and shares her excitement with her friends at school. She daydreams about her own wedding, but quickly snaps out of it when she remembers she is only in 5th grade.
Later, Doremi's family announces that their grandmother is getting remarried and they will all be attending the wedding. Doremi is thrilled and begins to plan her outfit for the occasion. She decides to make her own dress with the help of her friends.
As they are working on the dress, Doremi's friends start teasing her about getting married. Doremi brushes it off and insists that she is too young.
At the wedding, Doremi sees her grandmother in her beautiful bridal gown and feels inspired. She begins to daydream about her own wedding again. She imagines herself walking down the aisle, but this time she is marrying her crush, Kotake.
Doremi's friends continue to tease her about getting married, but this time Kotake joins in. He tells Doremi that he wants to marry her someday. Doremi is thrilled and flustered, but before she can respond, the wedding ceremony begins.
Doremi and her friends watch as her grandmother and her fiancé exchange vows. Doremi realizes that marriage is not just about wearing a pretty dress and walking down the aisle, but it is a serious commitment between two people who love each other.
After the wedding, Doremi tells Kotake that she is not ready to get married yet, but she appreciates his feelings. The two of them share a sweet moment before going their separate ways.
Doremi goes home and looks at her wedding dream book. She adds a new page to it and writes down her grandmother's wedding as a memory. She realizes that she has a lot of time to grow and prepare before she gets married, but for now she is happy being a kid.
Overall, this episode explores the childish idea of getting married and how it can be inspired by seeing others do so. The main character learns important lessons and gains new perspectives while still maintaining their youthful excitement and innocence.
