Ep 31. The Present from Mongolia
- September 5, 1999
Doremi, Hazuki, Aiko, and Onpu receive a package from Mongolia containing a magic carpet. Excited to try it out, they take off into the sky and accidentally get blown away to a desert island. Stranded with limited food and water, the girls must work together to survive until they can figure out how to get back home.
As they explore the island, the girls stumble upon an oasis and decide to take a break from their survival efforts. While relaxing, they notice a group of camels carrying supplies and decide to approach them for help. However, the camels are unresponsive, and Doremi realizes that they are under a magic spell.
With the help of the magic carpet, the girls fly to a nearby town and discover that the camels were put under a spell by a young Mongolian boy named Bolbo. Feeling responsible for their predicament, Bolbo offers to break the spell and help the girls get back home in exchange for their help in finding his missing grandmother.
The girls reluctantly agree, and they set off on a journey across the Mongolian countryside. Along the way, they learn about the culture and traditions of Mongolia and meet various interesting characters such as a skilled eagle hunter and a friendly yak herder.
As they search for Bolbo's grandmother, the girls encounter a mysterious figure stealing valuable resources from the Mongolian people. With the help of their magical abilities and the friends they've made along the way, they eventually track down the thief and discover that it is a misguided spirit trying to restore balance to the land.
In the end, Bolbo's grandmother is found, the spell on the camels is broken, and the girls are able to safely return home with a newfound appreciation for different cultures and the power of teamwork.
