The episode titled "The Ancestor" brings forth the theme of family and ancestry, where Oggy and his friends try to reconnect with their roots. The episode is divided into three parts- "Oggy Grandma", "Trans-Amazonian" and "The Ancestor".
The first part "Oggy Grandma" begins with Oggy inviting his grandmother to stay with him for a couple of days. However, things take a hilarious turn when the cockroaches decide to make her stay even more exciting by playing pranks on her. The cockroaches even dress up as her long lost pets and cause havoc all around the house. Despite all this, Grandma Oggy manages to have a good time and enjoy her stay with her loving grandson.
In the second part "Trans-Amazonian", Oggy and his pals Jack and Bob decide to visit the Amazon rainforest in search of the rare Trans-Amazonian plant. However, they soon find themselves in trouble with a group of local tribe people who mistake them for aliens. The tribe people believe that the Trans-Amazonian plant is sacred and can only be touched by their ancestor's chosen one, who has the marking of the plant on their body. The trio tries their best to prove that they are not aliens and are the chosen ones, but things don't go as planned, and they end up in jail.
Finally, the third part "The Ancestor" brings all the previous plots together. Oggy and his friends find themselves landed in the tribe's jail alongside a mysterious old man who possesses the marking of the Trans-Amazonian plant. The old man, who is actually a distant ancestor of Oggy's, tells them the story of their family and how they were the sworn protectors of the Trans-Amazonian plant. He also reveals that the cockroaches were sent by the tribe people to stop them from reaching the plant. Moreover, they also discover that Oggy's grandmother had the same marking, which makes her the true protector of the plant.
The group then decides to escape from the jail and make their way to the Trans-Amazonian plant. They manage to outrun the cockroaches and find the plant, but they also face the wrath of the tribe people. However, with the help of Oggy's grandma and the old man's guidance, they manage to save the day and protect the plant.
