Nevertheless, the Odd Squad decides to follow the tip and returns to the ball pit once more.

As they sift through the colorful balls once again, one of the agents makes a startling discovery. They find a secret tunnel that leads underneath the play center. The tunnel is concealed beneath the ball pit, and only accessible by moving a particular sequence of balls in a certain order. The agents manage to decipher the puzzle and follow the tunnel deep underground.

After wandering through a series of dark, winding passages, the Odd Squad arrives at a hidden room. Inside the room, they find the missing boy, unharmed but clearly frightened. The boy explains that he stumbled upon the secret tunnel while playing in the ball pit, and ended up getting lost in the maze of tunnels below. However, he managed to find the hidden room and waited there until someone found him.

With the boy safely back in his mother's arms, the Odd Squad prepares to leave the play center. However, before they can go, they receive another call from the mysterious tipster. This time, the caller reveals their identity: it was the owner of the play center all along. The owner had built the secret tunnel and hidden room as a fun surprise for children, but had not anticipated anyone getting lost in the tunnels. Feeling guilty, the owner thanked the Odd Squad for bringing the boy back safely and promised to close the tunnel permanently.

"The Ball Pit" is an exciting and suspenseful episode of Odd Squad that showcases the agents' problem-solving skills and resourcefulness. The mystery of the missing boy keeps viewers on the edge of their seats, while the discovery of the secret tunnel adds an extra layer of intrigue. The episode also delivers a heartwarming resolution, with the boy being reunited with his mother and the play center owner taking responsibility for their mistake.
