Eva comes up with a daring plan to use her own Krawtar powers to disrupt the tower's energy field. The plan works, and the tower is disabled, causing a massive explosion. Eva and Aikka are rescued, and General Zhor is captured.

As the episode comes to a close, Eva and the others realize that the explosion has changed the nature of Sul – the planet is no longer a barren wasteland but is now a lush, thriving world. They also discover that the explosion has caused a shift in the Great Race standings – with the leading team now much closer to the rest of the pack.
