Ep 19. Bad Rap

Sipowicz meets Sylvia at their therapist's office where they discuss Andy's resistance to change. Later, while investigating a murder, Sipowicz meets a young rapper who believes he's being set up to take a fall. Meanwhile, one of Fancy's uniformed officers is shot to death when he attempts to stop a convenience store robbery. The case gets personal for Fancy when he learns the officer was in a relationship with his sister-in-law. When they apprehend the suspect, evidence points to another suspect, but Fancy has a hard time accepting this. Additionally, Medavoy and Martinez investigate a robbery where a young woman was beaten and robbed. As they work the case, they discover she has a past with a pimp who may have been involved in her assault. The episode ends with Sylvia revealing to Andy that she's pregnant.
