Ep 9. Below the Belt

Detective Andy Sipowicz and his partner Detective Connie McDowell investigate the murder of a transgender woman who was found beaten to death in her apartment. As they dive into the investigation, they uncover a network of illegal hormone treatment providers and a group of clients who were potentially involved with the victim.

Meanwhile, Detective John Clark Jr. and Detective Baldwin Jones investigate a separate case involving a troubled teen who was found dead in a boxing gym. Their investigation leads them to the owner of the gym and the young fighter who was last seen with the victim.

As the detectives work on their respective cases, they also struggle with their personal lives. Sipowicz navigates a difficult conversation with his ex-wife about their son's custody, while Clark begins to question his relationship with his girlfriend.

With tensions running high and time running out, the detectives race to solve their cases before more lives are lost. In the end, they must confront their own personal demons in order to bring justice to those who have been wronged.
