Ep 10. First Snow

As winter approaches, the residents of Cicely, Alaska prepare for the first snowfall of the season in Northern Exposure season 5 episode 10, "First Snow." When a pack of sled dogs arrive in town with their handler, Maggie (Janine Turner) decides to train them for the town's annual sled dog race. However, she quickly realizes that the dogs are not the most obedient and she struggles to get them to listen to her commands.

Meanwhile, Joel (Rob Morrow) is struggling to adjust to the harsh winter climate and finds himself feeling increasingly isolated.
