Ed has his heart set on a classic car that is up for sale, but he will have to come up with the money to buy it. He takes on a job as an apprentice electrician to earn some extra cash and hopefully fulfill his dream of owning the car.
In addition to these personal issues, the town is also dealing with a power outage that's lasting several days. Everyone pitches in to help by bringing food and supplies to the community center, which has become a makeshift shelter for those who need it.
