Noddy and his friends in Toyland are back with another exciting adventure in the third episode of season one, called "Hide and seek whiz/Mr plod loses his laugh."

In the first half of the episode, the toys are having a game of hide and seek, and Tessie Bear is showing off her whizzing hiding skills. Noddy, however, is still struggling to find a good hiding spot. As they play, Noddy gets distracted by a group of animals who seem to be having a lot of fun together. Feeling left out, Nody decides to invite the animals to play with them. But as the game progresses, the animals start to make things too difficult for the toys. The game eventually turns into a contest - toys versus animals - and it's up to Noddy to remind everyone that the most important thing is to have fun together, not win at all costs.

In the second half of the episode, Mr. Plod, Toyland's policeman, has lost his laugh. Noddy and his friends are used to hearing Plod's boisterous laugh all over town, and they can't seem to figure out what's wrong with him. Mr. Sparks, Toyland's mechanic, thinks that it might be a problem with Plod's pipes, so he and Noddy set out to fix them. But when they arrive at Plod's house, they find that Mr. Plod has piled up all of his jokes and humorous items in his front yard. Mr. Plod explains that he is worried about being taken seriously as a policeman if he continues to laugh so much. As Noddy and Mr. Sparks help him sort through his pile of funny items, they show Plod that it's possible to be both a good police officer and have a sense of humor. By the end of the episode, Plod has found his laughter again, and the toys of Toyland are happy to hear it.

Overall, "Hide and seek whiz/Mr plod loses his laugh" is a heartwarming episode that explores the importance of friendship, sportsmanship and the ability to laugh even in tough situations. With colorful settings, catchy tunes, and engaging characters, this episode is sure to delight both children and adults alike.
