Nobunagun is a thrilling anime series that aired on Tokyo MX in 2014. The show revolves around a high school girl named Sio Ogura, who has no special abilities or talents whatsoever. However, her life takes an unexpected turn when she discovers that she is a reincarnation of Oda Nobunaga, a legendary warrior who lived in 16th century Japan.

Sio learns that she is part of a secret organization called DOGOO, which was formed to protect the Earth from invading extraterrestrial creatures called "Evolutionary Invasion Objects" (EIOs). DOGOO is made up of various individuals who are also reincarnations of famous historical figures, each possessing unique abilities that they can use to defeat the EIOs.

As Sio begins to embrace her new identity as Nobunaga, she discovers that she has the ability to summon powerful weapons and armor from the past. She also develops an affinity for combat and quickly becomes a valuable member of DOGOO's team.

Throughout the series, Sio and her fellow DOGOO members embark on dangerous missions to combat the EIOs, who have been wreaking havoc on Earth for centuries. The EIOs are highly advanced and intelligent, and each one presents a unique challenge to the team.

However, as the series progresses, Sio begins to uncover some dark secrets about the true nature of the EIOs and the origins of DOGOO. She also grapples with her own identity as both Sio and Nobunaga, and the responsibilities that come with each persona.

The show features an impressive voice cast, including Jad Saxton as Sio/Nobunaga, J. Michael Tatum as DOGOO leader Jack Finch, and Monica Rial as DOGOO scientist and strategist Galileo. The animation is also top-notch, with fluid action sequences and creative designs for the various weapons and armor that Sio summons.

Overall, Nobunagun is a thrilling anime series that delivers action, drama, and sci-fi elements in equal measure. It's the perfect show for fans of historical figures and mecha anime, and will keep viewers on the edge of their seats until the very end.

Nobunagun is a series that ran for 1 seasons (16 episodes) between January 5, 2014 and on Tokyo MX
