This British comedy series is set in a world that looks very similar to modern-day Britain but with one big exception. It is now filled with assorted superheroes whom the locals refer to as capes. These superheroes, dressed in colorful skintight costumes, go about their daily lives doing ordinary things like going shopping, interspersed with activities that involve helping the populace avert disaster and saving people's lives.

The death of The Fortress bouncer Thunder Monkey leaves the superhero gang saddened and the bar's landlord Norse Dave is keen for retaliation. He holds the supervillain Doomball captive in the cellar and arranges for Don (Timebomb) to interrogate him to obtain information. Alex (The Hotness) receives a job offer to join an American superhero group, but will he leave his friends?

Jenny (She-Force) visits a supervillain (played by Mark Heap) whose capture she is responsible for and finds he has a special request. While Sarah (Electroclash) and Alex (The Hotness) attempt to spend an evening at The Fortess without arguing, Don (Timebomb) reports for his new job of body guard for a spoiled prince.

Jenny (She-Force) decides to flirt with another superhero at The Fortress and makes an unfortunate fishy discovery.

Devlin (Excelsor) harasses Alex and other lessor known superheroes at The Fortress with his bragging rights for most TV appearances.
