Ep 3. Two of a Kind

Raku, the son of the leader of a yakuza gang, is now in a predicament. Two girls, Chitoge and Kosaki, have declared their love for him. Both girls have a key that may be the key to Raku's past, which he can't remember. These keys hold great significance, as they may unlock a special locket which may contain the clue to Raku's memories and possibly, his first love.

Later, while Raku is running errands for his yakuza family, he catches a glimpse of a girl who looks suspiciously like his childhood crush. He follows her as she walks through the streets, hoping she will lead him to the special locket. However, while he is following her, he is ambushed by members of Claude's gang.

Raku manages to defend himself but is left injured and stranded in an alleyway. Chitoge, who happens to be passing by, sees Raku in his injured state and tends to his wounds. As she helps him, Raku realizes that Chitoge is more than just a brash, assertive girl; she too has a caring, compassionate side to her.

In the end, Raku is torn between Chitoge and Kosaki. As he ponders over his feelings, he hopes to find the answer to his romantic dilemma. When he reaches home, he discovers that the special locket has not been found and the threat from Claude's gang remains imminent.

"Two of a Kind" is an episode that shows the complexities of love and relationships.
