Ep 21. Camp Nina / Nina's Kick-Off

Nina's World is an animated children's television series that follows the daily adventures of a six-year-old Latina girl named Nina and her family and friends. In season 1 episode 21, titled Camp Nina / Nina's Kick-Off, Nina is excited to host her first neighborhood campout.

In the second half of Camp Nina / Nina's Kick-Off, Nina is excited to play soccer with her friends in the park. She has been practicing all week, and she can't wait to show off her new moves. However, when she gets to the park, she finds out that the soccer field is closed for maintenance. Nina is disappointed but quickly comes up with an idea. She decides to host her soccer match in her backyard instead.

Nina sets up a makeshift soccer goal using some cardboard boxes and gets her friends to help her mark out the field using chalk. Everyone is excited to play, and they start their match. However, they soon realize that their makeshift soccer goal is a little too flimsy, and the ball keeps going through it. Nina suggests that they try a different sport instead, like basketball.

Nina's friends are hesitant at first, but she convinces them to give it a try. They use a laundry basket as a hoop, and Nina teaches them all how to dribble, pass, and shoot. It's not long before they're all having fun, and they start to forget about the fact that they couldn't play soccer. When Nina's mom comes outside to see what they're up to, Nina tells her all about their basketball game and how much fun they've had.
