The episode "Witch, Witch, Burning Bright" is the fourteenth installment of the first season of Rod Serling's Night Gallery. This episode features three different stories, each with a supernatural twist.
The first story follows a woman named Millicent who is being held in a mental institution. Millicent claims to be a witch and tells the hospital staff that she was burned at the stake in the 1600s. She also claims to have seen one of the nurses, Miss Gillick, in her past life. The staff dismisses Millicent's claims and treats her as delusional. However, strange things begin to happen around the hospital - from a cauldron full of boiling water to a mysterious fire. As the staff begins to fear for their safety, Millicent's seemingly crazy claims start to seem more and more plausible.
The second story introduces us to a young woman named Carol who is working as a secretary for a prestigious fashion designer. When her boss, Julian, asks Carol to stay late to work on a project, she agrees - despite the fact that she has a blind date that night. When Julian's project turns out to be a dress made of human skin, Carol is horrified. As the night progresses, Carol begins to realize that Julian is not only a murderer but also a warlock who is using the skin of his victims for his dark magic. Carol must use all her wits to outsmart Julian and escape with her life.
The final story centers around a doctor named David who has become obsessed with the idea of reincarnation. He believes that by hypnotizing his patients, he can uncover their past lives. When he meets a young woman named Leona, he becomes convinced that she is the reincarnation of a woman named Genevieve who was burned at the stake for witchcraft. As David becomes more and more fixated on Leona, he begins to neglect his own life - including his relationship with his fiancé. As the truth about Leona is revealed, David must come to terms with the consequences of his obsession.
Overall, "Witch, Witch, Burning Bright" is a chilling episode full of supernatural twists and turns. Each story is unique and engaging, with strong performances from the cast. Fans of horror and supernatural storytelling will find plenty to enjoy in this episode of Rod Serling's Night Gallery.
