Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn (NRDD) is a comedy series about quadruplets who are all unique in their own way and always end up in hilarious situations. The show follows the lives of the four siblings as they navigate their way through middle school, sibling rivalry, and growing up.
In season 3 episode 12, "I Want My Mae B. Back," the quad’s grandma, Mae, comes to visit and she is not her usual self. She has lost her fire and spunk, and seems depressed. The quads are determined to get her back to her old self, but their efforts don't seem to be working.
The quads realize that Mae is upset because she misses her old life as a traveling musician. To cheer her up, they decide to recreate her old band and help her rediscover her love for music. They even write a new song for her to sing, but they struggle to come up with the right lyrics that capture Mae's true essence.
Meanwhile, Tom and Anne have to deal with a mouse that has taken up residence in the house. They try to catch it but fail multiple times, leading to Tom becoming paranoid and Anne becoming frustrated. Eventually, they decide to call an exterminator, but the quads have a better idea.
In the end, the quads put on a concert for Mae's friends and family, with Mae as the lead singer. She finally regains her spark and energy, and everyone is impressed by her talent. Tom and Anne also get rid of the mouse and the family is able to relax and enjoy their time together.
Overall, "I Want My Mae B. Back" is a heartwarming episode about family, music, and the importance of supporting each other. The quads learn that sometimes the best way to help someone is to encourage them to pursue their passions and hobbies. The episode showcases the talents of the young actors who play the quads as well as the guest actress who plays Mae. It's a fun and entertaining episode that will leave viewers feeling happy and nostalgic.
