The Tell-tale Art is an episode from season 2 of the television series Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn. The episode follows the lives of four siblings, Nicky, Ricky, Dicky, and Dawn Harper, as they navigate the challenges of growing up and getting along with each other.
At the beginning of the episode, the Harper siblings are excited about a new art exhibit opening at the local museum. When they arrive, however, they quickly become bored with the abstract art on display and begin to play a game of tag. In the chaos that ensues, Dawn accidentally touches one of the paintings, leaving a smudge on the canvas.
The siblings are horrified at what they've done, but quickly realize that the smudge actually looks like a face. They are fascinated by the idea and decide to create their own artwork with faces hidden within the painting. Soon, they are all competing to see who can create the best "tell-tale art".
As the competition heats up, however, the siblings begin to betray each other in their quest to win. Nicky and Ricky team up against Dicky, while Dawn tries to sabotage everyone's paintings to ensure her victory.
When the museum curator announces that one of the Harper siblings has won the contest, the siblings are relieved and excited. But when they see the winning painting, they are shocked to see that it's actually a collaboration of all four of them. They realize that their competitive spirit had caused them to lose sight of the true purpose of their art.
In the end, the siblings make up and learn the importance of working together and supporting each other's creative endeavors. The episode ends with the Harper siblings walking hand in hand, admiring the beauty of the art exhibition they had originally found boring.
