Ep 4. Field of Brains

Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn season 1 episode 4 is titled "Field of Brains." In this episode, the siblings participate in a school science fair. Each of them come up with their own projects, but Dawn is determined to win first place.

Dawn's project is a hit with the judges, who are all very impressed with her creation. Meanwhile, the other quads struggle to impress the judges with their projects. Dicky's potato battery fails to work, Nicky's wind turbine falls apart, and Ricky's volcano erupts prematurely.

The judges award Dawn first place, but she is not satisfied. She believes that her project should have won by a bigger margin. She sets out to prove that her machine is more accurate than the judges' methods of determining intelligence.

Dawn goes around the school and convinces her classmates to take her IQ test. She uses her machine to analyze their brainwaves and assigns them a score. Her classmates are all excited to see how intelligent they are, but they quickly realize that Dawn's machine is not very accurate. Dawn's own IQ score drops significantly when she takes the test multiple times.

The episode concludes with Dawn admitting that her machine was flawed, and that there are many different ways of measuring intelligence. She apologizes to her siblings for being so competitive, and they all agree that the science fair was a great learning experience.
