Nick Cannon Presents: Wild 'N Out has been one of the most popular shows on MTV for over a decade now. The show features improvisational comedy, rap battles, and other events that bring out the best in the performers. Season 11 Episode 12, titled Winnie Harlow / Rapsody was no exception and featured some of the best comedic talent in the industry.
This episode of Wild 'N Out featured Winnie Harlow, a Canadian model, and Rapsody, an American rapper. The episode opened with Nick Cannon introducing the two guests and the Wild 'N Out cast members. The episode's theme was all about Black Culture, and the set was designed to reflect this, with Black Panther imagery and African-inspired prints all over the place.
The first game was 'Pick Up & Kill It', where two cast members have to freestyle a rap after being given a random word to start. Winnie Harlow was paired with DC Young Fly for this game, and the two of them absolutely killed it. They rhymed on topics of their choice, showcasing some fantastic wordplay and impressive lyrical abilities.
Next, there was the 'Turn Me Up In The Headphones' game, where the cast members acted out a scene but could only hear the music, with no sound effects. This game brought out a lot of laughs from both the audience and the guests, as each cast member translated their dialogue in a unique way.
Another segment was the 'So Fly' game, where the cast members had to come up with the most absurd reasons why they are fly. The girls of the show got to showcase their comedic chops in this game, with the likes of B. Simone and Justina Valentine killing it.
The show also featured a game called 'Got Damned', where Nick and his fellow comedians take turns roasting each other. This particular episode saw some of the harshest burns yet, with the guests feeling the wrath of the comedians. Rapsody held her own in this segment, showing off her quick wit and sharp tongue.
Towards the end of the show, Rapsody took to the stage to perform some of her hit tracks. The rapper, who has been praised for her socially conscious lyrics, had the audience on their feet, rapping along to every word. Her performance was electric, and it was clear why she has become such a respected name in the rap game.
The episode ended with a classic Wild 'N Out game, 'Wildstyle', where the comedians are given specific insults to throw at each other, with the aim of getting a bigger reaction from the crowd. Both guests and cast members took part in this game, with some of the most laugh-out-loud moments of the episode happening in this segment.
Overall, Wild 'N Out season 11 episode 12, Winnie Harlow / Rapsody, was a testament to the show's continued success.
