As the detectives delve deeper into the case, they uncover a web of corruption that extends far beyond the gang members themselves. They quickly find themselves at odds with their own precinct when they learn that a respected detective has been compromised by the Private Sector's leader, MC Enigma. With the help of their boss, Lieutenant Virginia Cooper, Williams and Torres must navigate the dangerous territory of police politics to bring justice to the victim and his community.
