Ep 4. Diamond Geezers

The retired jewel thief provides the team with some valuable information, and they learn that the robbers were part of a much larger criminal organization. As they continue their investigation, they find out that some of the people involved in the case were not who they claimed to be.

The team of retired detectives works together to create a plan to catch the thieves before they sell the diamonds. They contact the head of the criminal organization, who tries to double-cross them, leading to a thrilling conclusion that involves a high-speed chase and a surprise twist.

Throughout the episode, the team deals with their own personal issues and struggles, providing an overarching story that adds depth to the characters. For example, Sandra has to confront her past when she recognizes one of the witnesses from her time undercover. Jack deals with the prospect of retirement and what that means for his future. Similarly, Brian has to confront his former boss and make a difficult decision about his future.

As with most New Tricks episodes, "Diamond Geezers" provides a satisfying conclusion to the case, with all loose ends being tied up. The episode is full of humor, action, and heartfelt moments, making it an enjoyable watch for fans of the series and newcomers alike.
