Ep 9. Heat Wave

As the summer heats up, the gang deals with a heat wave in the aptly titled episode "Heat Wave." Jess (Zooey Deschanel) is excited to take advantage of the hot weather by throwing a rooftop party for her friends, but with the temperature soaring, plans quickly begin to fall apart.

Cece (Hannah Simone) is busy rehearsing for a dance performance, and her lack of air conditioning is starting to take a toll on her. Meanwhile, Schmidt (Max Greenfield) and Nick (Jake Johnson) are trying to win over their neighbors with the ultimate block party, but tensions rise when their ideas for music clash.
