Ep 9. Thanksgiving IV

It's Thanksgiving in the loft, and everyone is getting ready for the big day. But tensions are high as Nick and Winston compete in a game of "who can bring the best side dish." Schmidt, on the other hand, is struggling to come up with a name for his new business venture and enlists CeCe's help.

Meanwhile, Jess's parents, Bob and Joan, are visiting for the holiday and bringing along their new dog. Jess is excited to see them, but is also anxious about her parents' recent divorce and how it will affect their time together. To make matters worse, Bob and Joan seem to be more interested in their phone calls and emails than spending time with their daughter.

As the group prepares for the Thanksgiving meal, tensions continue to rise and secrets are revealed. Winston's side dish accidentally gets mixed up with a deceptively spicy dish made by CeCe's mom, and hilarity ensues. Schmidt struggles to impress his mother and her new boyfriend with his business ideas, while Nick's side dish disaster leads him to take drastic measures.
