Ep 8. Teachers

In New Girl season 4 episode 8, titled "Teachers," Jess and Coach attend a teaching conference together. However, their plans are quickly derailed when Schmidt's boss, Kim, drops by unexpectedly. She's looking for Schmidt, who is in Detroit for a family emergency, and ends up getting into some trouble with Nick and Winston. As the night progresses, things go from bad to worse, and the three of them end up in a crazy situation.

Back at the conference, Jess is struggling with her feelings for Professor Bauer. She confides in Coach, who tells her to follow her heart and pursue her feelings. Jess decides to take Coach's advice and heads to Professor Bauer's room to tell him how she feels. However, she quickly realizes that he is now married with children, and she has missed her chance. She leaves feeling embarrassed and disappointed.

The episode ends with Jess and Coach driving back home, reflecting on their experiences at the conference. Jess is still processing her feelings for Professor Bauer, while Coach is happy to be back with May. Nick, Winston, and Kim eventually make it out of their predicament and are left with a crazy story to tell.
