Neil Patrick Harris is an actor who made is acting debut as Doogie Howser in the hit ABC show Doogie Howser, M.D. in 1989. In 2005, Neil Patrick Harris made a comeback on the hit CBS comedy show How I Met Your Mother as womanizer Barney Stinson. With the role of Barney Stinson, he won an Emmy for the character three years running from 2007-2010. In 2011, he was the host of the 65th Tony Awards and became the same host in the next two years. He currently hosted the 87th Academy Awards and made a cameo on FX hit show American Horror Story. Though How I Met Your Mother is at an end, the actor has many shows and cameos under his belt.
