Ep 5. Safe Harbor

Safe Harbor is the fifth episode of the ninth season of NCIS. In this episode, the team investigates a suspicious death that occurs on a Navy ship during a mission. As the team digs deeper into the case, they discover that the sailor who died had been involved in a gambling ring onboard the ship, and that he may have been murdered to protect the identity of the person running the ring.

Meanwhile, Gibbs is struggling with some personal issues. He receives a package in the mail from his deceased father, and is forced to confront some unresolved issues from his past. With the help of his team, Gibbs is able to come to terms with his feelings and move forward.

As the investigation into the sailor's death continues, the team uncovers some shocking secrets about the ship's crew. They discover that several of the sailors were involved in the gambling ring, and that the ringleader was using the money to fund illegal activities.

As the team races to track down the person who killed the sailor, they must also deal with interference from the ship's commanding officer, who seems intent on covering up the investigation.

Ultimately, the team is able to solve the case and bring the killer to justice. Gibbs also finds closure with his father and is able to put his past behind him.

Safe Harbor is a thrilling and emotionally-charged episode of NCIS, filled with twists and turns that will keep viewers on the edge of their seats. With excellent performances from the cast and an engaging storyline, it is a standout episode in an already strong season.
