Tony and Ziva are assigned to protect a brilliant 12-year-old prodigy who has designed a new software program, but they soon discover that the people after the boy have a different agenda. Gibbs and the rest of the team investigate a murder in connection with the software, leading them to a corporate conspiracy and ultimately uncovering a dangerous plot to infect the country's computer networks with a trojan horse virus.
