In NCIS season 14 episode 6, entitled "Shell Game," the team investigates a case involving stolen Iraqi artifacts that have been smuggled into the United States. The artifacts were on loan to a museum in Iraq and were set to be returned until they were taken during a surprise attack on the museum.
As the team works to track the artifacts, they begin to unravel a web of deceit involving corrupt military contractors and a shell company used to launder money. When the body of a military contractor is found, the team must determine if it is connected to the missing artifacts or if it is an unrelated murder.
Meanwhile, Agent Torres (played by Wilmer Valderrama) is struggling to fit in with the team and to earn their trust. He is frustrated with the constant hazing and teasing he is subjected to and is determined to prove himself as a valuable member of the team.
As the investigation progresses, the team realizes that they are dealing with a dangerous adversary and that the lives of innocent people are at risk. They must work quickly to track down the stolen artifacts and bring those responsible to justice.
Throughout the episode, there are also several subplots that develop. Gibbs (played by Mark Harmon) is dealing with a personal issue related to his father, and McGee (played by Sean Murray) and Delilah (played by Margo Harshman) are preparing for their upcoming wedding.
"Shell Game" is an action-packed episode that will keep viewers on the edge of their seat. The intricate plot and well-developed characters make for an entertaining and engaging watch. NCIS fans will not want to miss this installment of the long-running series.
