Ep 16. The Deal with Eels / Skip It!

In the second half of the episode, "Skip It!" Nature Cat and his friends decide to go on a challenge to see who can skip the most rocks in the pond. While Hal is a master skipper, Daisy isn't as good and gets frustrated when she can't get her rocks to skip.

Nature Cat comes up with an ingenious plan to help Daisy improve her skipping skills. He sets up a training session, where he draws a hopscotch board in the dirt, and has Daisy practice skipping stones in different patterns. Daisy improves drastically and manages to skip many rocks in a row, but when it comes to the competition, she still struggles.

However, Daisy realizes that competing is not all about winning, and that it's more important to have fun with friends and enjoy being in nature. The group ends up having a blast and even find some painted turtles sunbathing on a log.
