In the Naruto Season 3 Episode 8 titled "Byakugan vs. Shadow Clone Jutsu!", the storyline follows the aftermath of the previous episode where Sasuke's cursed seal flares up, causing him to attack Naruto. The episode begins with Sasuke being locked up in a cell and Kakashi informing Naruto and Sakura about the situation. This causes Naruto to reflect on his promise to bring Sasuke back to the village no matter what.

Meanwhile, Neji and Hinata are seen walking in the forest when they hear a commotion coming from a nearby clearing. They discover a group of rogue ninja attacking a young girl and her father. Neji immediately jumps into action and takes down the attackers single-handedly. The girl’s father is grateful to Neji and invites both him and Hinata to their village to thank them properly.

As they reach the village, Neji and Hinata learn that the village is facing an imminent attack from a group of Shadow clone users. The clan leader, who is also the girl’s father, informs them that the attackers have been watching their village for some time. They have a unique ability to create an army of shadow clones and are known to be extremely powerful. The only way to defeat them is by using the Byakugan, which is the Hyuga Clan’s special ability to see through everything.

Just as Neji is about to prepare for the attack, the leader’s daughter informs them that Hinata is also a member of the same clan and possesses the Byakugan. This revelation takes Hinata by surprise as she was never taught to use her abilities, and always considered herself a weak member of the clan. However, Neji encourages Hinata to embrace her strengths, and the two start preparing for the upcoming battle.

On the other end, Kakashi is busy analyzing Sasuke’s cursed seal and discovers that it’s getting stronger with time. He contacts Orochimaru, who is the creator of the seal, to seek his help in removing it. Orochimaru agrees to help Sasuke, but only if he agrees to serve him in the future.

As the day of the attack arrives, Hinata and Neji face off against the Shadow clone users. Hinata surprises everyone, including Neji, with her use of the Byakugan which she uses to guide Neji in taking down the Shadow clone users. However, the attackers are not ordinary and have more tricks up their sleeves. They start multiplying their shadow clones at an alarming speed, and it starts to become difficult for Hinata and Neji to keep up.

Neji, who is already exhausted, thinks of a strategy to use Hinata’s Byakugan to his advantage. He asks her to focus her vision on the attacker’s movements and guide him in aiming his Gentle Fist moves. Gentle Fist is an attack that redirects an opponent’s chakra flow and knocks them out. Neji, already an expert in the Gentle Fist technique, uses Hinata’s Byakugan and his expertise to defeat all the attackers.

In the end, the village cheers for Hinata and Neji, who have successfully saved their clan. Hinata, who was once considered weak, finally gains confidence in herself. She realizes that everyone has their unique abilities, and it's only when they embrace those abilities, they truly become strong.

Overall, Naruto Season 3 Episode 8 "Byakugan vs. Shadow Clone Jutsu!" is an action-packed episode that showcases the strength of the Hyuga clan's unique abilities. It also emphasizes the importance of embracing one's strengths and never underestimating oneself.
