Killer Bee and Motoi is the 244th episode of the anime series Naruto Shippuden's fifth season. The episode starts with Naruto and Yamato arriving in the Land of Lightning, where they meet Killer Bee's old friend Motoi, who is also the caretaker of the Island Turtle where Bee is currently residing. Naruto learns from Motoi about Bee's past and how he became the Jinchuriki of the Eight-Tails.
The episode then cuts to a flashback where a young Bee, together with Motoi, entered the forest to train and hone their skills as ninja. Bee was then ambitious to achieve his dreams of becoming a rapper, spreading his words of wisdom and love to everyone. During their training, they encounter the Eight-Tails' host, who went berserk and attacked them. In an attempt to save his friend, Motoi recited a chant that Bee's mother taught them, which calmed the Eight-Tails down and saved them both.
Back in the present day, Naruto is determined to reach Bee and learn how to control the Nine-Tails inside him. However, Motoi warns him of the dangers of interacting with a Jinchuriki, as it may draw unwanted attention from enemies. Naruto insists on proceeding anyway, and in doing so, learns from Motoi about the complex relationship between Bee and the Eight-Tails.
As they continue on their journey, they are ambushed by the Swordsmen of the Mist, who are under the orders of the Akatsuki. The group of assassins challenges Naruto to a fight, but he ultimately overpowers them. With a newfound realization of his own strength, Naruto proceeds to the Island Turtle to confront Bee.
The episode concludes with Naruto finally meeting Bee, who is initially hesitant to reveal his true identity as a Jinchuriki. As he gets to know the two further, Naruto learns about the tumultuous journey Bee had in controlling the Eight-Tails within him, and how he was able to find peace within himself. Naruto gains new insight into how to control the Nine-Tails as a result of these conversations, and the two Jinchurikis ultimately form a bond despite the initial tension.
