As One's Friend is the 208th episode of the fourth season of Naruto Shippuden. The episode centers around the aftermath of the battle between the Allied Shinobi and Akatsuki. As night falls, Naruto and his friends gather at a memorial monument for all the fallen Shinobi, including Jiraiya. Naruto leaves a bouquet of flowers at Jiraiya's name, and tearfully vows to become stronger to protect his village and his friends.
The episode ends with a glimpse of Sasuke, who has arrived at the entrance of the Hidden Leaf Village. He faces off against the Leaf Village's Hokage, the powerful and respected leader of the village.
