Ep 6. Worlds Collide Part 2

As the title suggests, this episode is the second part of "Worlds Collide," the sixth episode of the third season of Naked And Afraid XL. At this point in the season, 12 veteran survivalists from previous seasons have been split into four teams, each with its own pair of co-captains.

In the previous episode, the teams had been dropped off in various locations in South Africa's Selati Basin. They were given a limited amount of supplies, including a machete, a pot, and a water filtration device. The goal was to survive for 40 days, but only one team would make it that far.

At the start of this episode, the four teams are still separated from each other, and they are all struggling. The episode begins with the intense sound of a thunderstorm rolling in as some of the survivalists try to keep their spirits up. They must also contend with wildlife, such as baboons that are attracted to their campsite.

One team is struggling with food, having caught only one small bird in the first few days. Another team is struggling with the heat, which is causing them to lose a lot of water. One member of that team, who is already dehydrated, develops a blister on his foot and has to hobble around on a makeshift crutch.

Despite the challenges, the teams are making some progress. One team manages to catch a snake, which they cook and eat. Another team discovers that the berries they have been eating are poisonous and is forced to switch to a new food source. The co-captains on one team work together to build a shelter, which provides some much-needed shade.

Several days into the challenge, the survivalists realize that they are not alone. As they venture out to find water, one team comes across another team's campsite and decides to investigate. The two teams share their experiences before parting ways. This encounter gives the survivalists a sense of both camaraderie and competition.

Later, another team has a more dangerous encounter when they stumble upon a group of baboons. The baboons are scared off for a moment, but they return and begin to circle the campsite. The survivalists are forced to make noise and chase the baboons away, but they remain on edge for the rest of the night.

As the days pass, the survivalists slowly start to come across each other more and more frequently. They share their struggles and successes and begin to form new alliances. However, tensions also start to rise as some members clash over leadership styles and priorities.

The episode ends with the teams still separated, but with a growing sense of competition as they see how well their rivals are doing. They are all determined to make it through the 40 days and prove that they are the best survivalists on Naked And Afraid XL.
