In season 8, episode 21 of Mystery Science Theater 3000, the crew is back in the Satellite of Love and ready to take on another terrible movie. The movie of choice in this episode is "Time Chasers," a low-budget sci-fi flick that tells the story of a young Vermont pilot named Nick who invents a time machine with his computer program.

The movie starts with Nick, played by Matthew Bruch, flying his small plane around Vermont, where he lives with his girlfriend Lisa, played by Bonnie Pritchard. Nick is frustrated with his job at a local aviation school, where he teaches students how to fly. To make some extra money, he decides to sell his computer program, which he believes could change the world.

Nick attends a presentation at a company called GenCorp, where he hopes to sell his program. However, the company's CEO, J.K. Robertson, played by George Woodard, dismisses Nick and his program, saying that it is not practical. Nick is angry and discouraged, but he finds a way to use his program to build a time machine.

With Lisa's help, Nick builds a time machine out of an old Cessna airplane. They take a trip into the future, where they find an apocalyptic wasteland. They realize that Nick's program has been used for evil purposes, and they must go back in time to stop the company that bought it from Nick.

Through a series of time travel adventures, Nick and Lisa find themselves fighting against J.K. Robertson and his evil minions. They must use their wits and their time machine to keep the future from being destroyed.

As always, the Mystery Science Theater 3000 crew is there to provide hilarious commentary on the terrible movie they are forced to watch. Joel, Crow, and Tom Servo make fun of the terrible special effects, the wooden acting, and the nonsensical plot.

One of the highlights of the episode is the running gag about the characters' hairstyles. Nick and J.K. Robertson both have mullets, which the crew can't help but make fun of. They also mock the time travel logic and the fact that the movie takes place in Vermont, which they consider to be a very boring location.

Overall, "Time Chasers" is a hilarious episode of Mystery Science Theater 3000. The crew's commentary is witty and entertaining, and the movie itself is so bad that it's fun to watch. Fans of the show will definitely enjoy this episode, and it's a great introduction to the series for newcomers.
