My Love From the Star is a romantic comedy-drama television series that tells the story of an alien named Do Min-joon (Kim Soo-hyun) who has been living on Earth for the past 400 years. Meanwhile, Yoo Se-mi (Yoo In-na), Cheon Song-yi's former friend and rival, begins to suspect that Do Min-joon may be an alien. She discovers a photo of him from over 400 years ago and begins to put the pieces together. Yoo Se-mi is jealous of Cheon Song-yi and Do Min-joon's relationship and tries to use this knowledge to her advantage.

The episode also introduces a new character, Lee Jae-kyung (Shin Sung-rok), the CEO of Cheon Song-yi's talent agency. Lee Jae-kyung is a ruthless businessman who is not afraid to manipulate others to get what he wants. He is shown to have a dangerous and mysterious connection to Cheon Song-yi's past.
