Ep 19. A Horse Shoe-in

As Twilight Sparkle and her friends prepare to leave for a trip to the Crystal Empire, they receive a letter from Starlight Glimmer. She informs them that she will not be joining them on their trip because she has taken up a new position as Guidance Counsellor at the School of Friendship. In her letter, she admits that she is nervous about her new job and hopes that the girls will be able to come visit her soon.

When Twilight and the others arrive in the Crystal Empire, they are greeted by Princess Cadance and Shining Armor. The couple has big news to share with Twilight: they are expecting another foal! Twilight is overjoyed for her friends, but the celebration is cut short when she gets a distressing letter from Starlight. It turns out that the job as Guidance Counsellor is not exactly what Starlight expected, and she's struggling to keep up with the demands of the position.

Twilight decides to visit Starlight and offer her assistance. When she arrives at the school, she is surprised to find that Starlight has already taken on an assistant, a unicorn named Sunburst. Twilight is pleased to see her old friend again, but a little skeptical about his qualifications to help Starlight with her job.

As Starlight takes Twilight on a tour of the school, Twilight is impressed by everything she sees. With over forty students to look after, Starlight is responsible for providing guidance and support to all of them. Despite the overwhelming workload, Starlight seems to be doing a great job. However, when she and Twilight attend a student's presentation, Twilight realizes that Starlight is assigning tasks to Sunburst that should be her responsibility. She confronts Starlight about this, and Starlight admits that she's been feeling overwhelmed and has been relying on Sunburst too much.

Twilight offers to mentor Starlight and help her develop her counseling skills. Starlight is hesitant at first, but eventually agrees. Twilight starts by teaching Starlight some basic counseling techniques, and together they work on developing a program to help students deal with stress and anxiety. Starlight is grateful for the support, and Twilight is pleased to be able to help her friend.

As they continue to work together, Starlight and Twilight discover that Sunburst has a natural talent for counseling. They decide to give him a chance to take on a more active role in the program, and he proves himself to be a valuable asset to the team. Starlight is impressed by Sunburst's abilities, and Twilight is happy to have another ally in her efforts to support the students at the school.

In the end, Starlight successfully completes her first big project as Guidance Counsellor, and Twilight is proud of her friend's accomplishments. The two of them celebrate with a trip to Sugarcube Corner, where they indulge in some delicious cupcakes and catch up on old times. As they chat, Starlight admits that she's still nervous about her job, but she's confident that she can handle it with the help of her friends. And with Twilight by her side, she knows that she can tackle anything that comes her way.
