Ep 25. Top Bolt

Rainbow Dash and Twilight Sparkle are tasked with proving the worth of two prospective students, Sky Stinger and Vapor Trail, to the Wonderbolts Academy. While Sky Stinger is a talented flyer with a large ego, Vapor Trail is revealed to be helping Sky cheat by subtly giving him a boost during their race trials, despite originally being the weaker flyer. As they continue to perform different exercises, Sky constantly ignores Vapor, leading her to doubt herself and consider giving up on flying altogether.

Twilight discovers Vapor's secret and urges her to come forward, but she is hesitant to do so, as she fears Sky will resent her for ruining his chances of joining the Wonderbolts Academy. After speaking to Rainbow Dash about her own experience with confidence and teamwork, Twilight decides to have the students participate in a team exercise that requires them to work together and use each other's skills to succeed. During the exercise, Vapor gains the confidence to confront Sky and confess her assistance, leading him to appreciate her and their teamwork.

In the end, both Sky and Vapor are accepted into the Wonderbolts Academy, where they apologize to each other and vow to work together and improve their skills. Rainbow Dash and Twilight reflect on their own friendship and the importance of honesty and teamwork in achieving success.
