Yuzan arrives in town and immediately makes it clear that he is Shizuku's older brother. Haru is very unnerved by Yuzan and Shizuku is both angry and embarrassed to have her family there. Yuzan is quick to apologize for anything that may have caused trouble with Haru, but does not shy away from his way of doing things. Shizuku is annoyed by Yuzan's presence and tries to distance herself from him as much as possible.
Haru does not trust Yuzan and has a feeling that he has something up his sleeve. Yuzan requests an explanation for the situation between him and Haru. Shizuku explains that it was Haru's doing and that he was the one who started it all. Yuzan is not impressed and says that he needs to stop causing trouble for his sister. Haru becomes irritated with Yuzan and questions what he is really up to.
Yuzan continues to disrupt Shizuku's life in town. He meets Souhei and insists on driving him home, subtly causing a stir between him and Shizuku. He drops in at her work and even meets her friends. Throughout it all, Yuzan remains apologetic and polite while also showing an underlying desire to be in control.
Towards the end of the episode, Yuzan's true intentions are revealed. Haru and Shizuku are shocked by what he reveals and Shizuku breaks down in tears. Haru is determined to help her, but Yuzan is one step ahead of them all.
As the episode comes to a close, the conflict between Yuzan and the rest of the characters reaches a boiling point. It is unclear how the situation will resolve, but one thing is certain: things will never be the same in this small town.
