My Little Lover is a Japanese romantic comedy-drama television series that premiered on Fuji TV on November 9, 2015. The show tells the story of Shunichi Minami (played by Mirai Suzuki), a high school boy who receives a mysterious small doll one day from an unknown sender. The doll turns out to be a living girl named Chizuru (played by Maika Yamamoto), who has been shrunken down to a fraction of her normal size due to a strange supernatural phenomenon. As a result, Shunichi and Chizuru must navigate their way through the challenges of being a tiny girl and a teenage boy in love.

The show is set in Tokyo and revolves around the daily lives of its two main characters. Shunichi is a popular and outgoing high school student who enjoys playing basketball and spending time with his friends. He is also a bit of a ladies' man, but he soon finds himself falling in love with Chizuru. Chizuru, on the other hand, is a quiet and reserved girl who enjoys reading and writing. She is also very smart and often helps Shunichi with his studies.

Throughout the course of the show, Shunichi and Chizuru encounter a variety of obstacles that threaten to tear them apart. For example, they have to deal with misunderstandings and miscommunications, as well as the disapproval of some of their friends and family members. In addition, they must also navigate the challenges of being a tiny girl and a teenage boy in love. This includes avoiding obstacles such as large insects and navigating their way through everyday objects like chairs and tables.

Despite these challenges, Shunichi and Chizuru remain deeply in love and determined to make their relationship work. They are supported by a cast of colorful and eccentric characters, including Shunichi's best friend, Kojima (played by Koichi Ohori), who often provides comic relief; Chizuru's mother, who is always worried about her daughter's safety; and Shunichi's older sister, who offers advice and guidance to her younger brother.

At its core, My Little Lover is a show about the power of love and the lengths that people will go to in order to protect and preserve it. It is a heartwarming and uplifting series that explores the ups and downs of relationships, as well as the challenges of growing up and navigating life's twists and turns.

The show is beautifully shot, with stunning cinematography that captures the vibrant colors and energy of Tokyo. The performances by the main cast members are also top-notch, with Maika Yamamoto and Mirai Suzuki delivering particularly strong performances as the leads.

Overall, My Little Lover is a delightful and charming show that is perfect for fans of romantic comedies and coming-of-age dramas. It is a must-watch for anyone who loves stories about love, friendship, and the triumph of the human spirit.
