My Last Days is a documentary television series that aired on The CW from 2012 to 2019. The show aimed to share the inspirational stories of individuals who were living with terminal illnesses and their extraordinary lives. The series was created by Justin Baldoni, who also served as the executive producer and director of the show. Baldoni is known for his role in the popular CW series Jane the Virgin and his work as a filmmaker and advocate for social causes.

The show featured individuals from different backgrounds and ages, who were all living with terminal illnesses. The first season aired in 2012 and featured the stories of three individuals - Emily, Zach, and Justin. Emily was a young woman who suffered from cystic fibrosis and was told she had only a few years to live. Zach was a teenager who had been living with osteosarcoma, a type of bone cancer, since he was 12 years old. Justin was a young man who was diagnosed with spinal muscular atrophy when he was a baby and had been living with the disease his whole life.

The series showcased the personal stories of each individual, the challenges they faced living with their illnesses, and their resilience to keep pushing forward. It also featured the individuals' families and loved ones, who shared their own experiences of loving and supporting someone with a terminal illness.

The show became a platform for these individuals to share their hopes and dreams with the world, despite their circumstances. It aimed to provide viewers with a new perspective on life and to make them appreciate every moment they had with their loved ones.

The second season of the show aired in 2016 and featured new inspiring stories of individuals living with terminal illnesses. The second season included stories of 15-year-old Claire, who suffered from cystic fibrosis, 23-year-old Jessica, who was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer, and 35-year-old Kendrick, who was diagnosed with ALS.

The third season, which aired in 2018, was titled "My Last Days: Legacy" and focused on individuals who had passed away but left a lasting impact on the world. The third season included stories of Christina, who was diagnosed with leukemia at 16 and became an advocate for bone marrow donation, and Claire Wineland, who was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis at birth and became a popular YouTube personality and activist.

Throughout the series, Baldoni sought to create an environment of love, support, and positivity. He created a hashtag, #LiveLikeYoureDying, which became a mantra for individuals across the world who were inspired by the show.

My Last Days aimed to showcase the strength, resilience, and courage of individuals living with terminal illnesses. It celebrated their lives and showed how they never let their illnesses define them. The show became a powerful reminder to never take life for granted and to cherish every moment with the people we love.
