My Kitchen Rules season 7 episode 2, titled "Episode 2," showcases more exciting kitchen battles as six new teams entered the competition. As always, the judges, Pete Evans and Manu Feildel, are ready to taste the contestants' dishes and critique their cooking skills.

The episode kicked off with the first team, Melbourne couple Tim and Kyle. They went for a seafood platter as their main course and a mango and passionfruit trifle for dessert. Their dishes received mixed reviews, with some judges enjoying the seafood platter while others found it underwhelming.

Next up, childhood friends Ashlee and Sophia from Queensland prepared a Moroccan-inspired feast with lamb tagine and couscous salad as their main course and baklava for dessert. The judges loved the flavors of their dishes, but noted that the lamb was slightly overcooked.

The third team, Canberra couple Jac and Shaz, brought their love for native Australian ingredients to the kitchen, using wattleseed and lemon myrtle in their dishes. They served up roasted barramundi with a macadamia crust and a lemon myrtle and potato puree, followed by a wattleseed pavlova for dessert. The judges were impressed by their creative use of ingredients and bold flavors.

Sydney sisters Nelly and Elle kept things simple with a classic Italian menu, serving up homemade gnocchi with tomato sauce as their main course and a tiramisu for dessert. The judges found their dishes to be lacking in complexity and flavor, and criticized the gnocchi for being too heavy.

The fifth team, married couple Alex and Emily from South Australia, chose to take a risk by making a vegan menu. They prepared a lentil and sweet potato curry as their main course and a chocolate and avocado mousse for dessert. Although the judges appreciated their efforts to cater to different dietary needs, they found the curry lacking in seasoning and the mousse too heavy.

Finally, Melbourne newlyweds Harry and Christo rounded out the episode with a Greek-inspired menu. They served marinated lamb skewers with tzatziki and a Greek salad as their main course and a honey and pistachio cake for dessert. The judges loved their flavors and presentation but criticized the lamb for being slightly overcooked.

Overall, the second episode of My Kitchen Rules season 7 showcased a wide range of cooking styles and flavors. The judges were tough but fair in their critiques, and viewers are sure to be on the edge of their seats as the competition heats up in the coming episodes.
