Jae-in is still trying to understand his feelings towards his childhood friend Song-i after her sudden confession. Meanwhile, Song-i's boyfriend, Tae-o, begins to feel threatened by Jae-in's presence in her life.
Song-i is still struggling with her relationship with Tae-o, who has been distant since her confession to him about her feelings for Jae-in. She confides in Jae-in's friend, Do-hyun, about her confusion and he offers her some advice.
As Tae-o begins to notice the growing bond between Song-i and Jae-in, he becomes jealous and confronts Jae-in about his intentions with Song-i. Jae-in denies any romantic interest in her and tries to assure Tae-o that he values their friendship above all else.
