Tony and Ben attempt to bond by spending time together participating in Tony's new hobby: bargain hunting. While at a flea market, Tony and Ben come across a vintage guitar that Tony claims is worth a fortune. However, when they bring the guitar to an expert to be appraised, they are disappointed to learn that it is actually a knock-off.
Meanwhile, Janey struggles to deal with her new job at a fast food restaurant. She is constantly belittled by her boss and mistreated by her coworkers. When she decides to stand up for herself, she ends up getting fired.
Susan tries to mediate a dispute between Nick and Roger, who are both vying for a spot on the neighborhood watch committee. As the tensions between the two escalate, Susan comes up with a plan to bring them together and resolve their differences.
As the episode progresses, the family members each confront their own challenges. Ben tries to come to terms with his recent breakup, while Michael attempts to raise money for his school's charity drive. In the end, the family comes together to support one another and overcome their individual struggles.
