Ep 3. Desperately Squeaking Susan

Susan is feeling depressed and enters a quiz show in the hopes of winning a lot of money. She becomes fixated on the game and soon becomes desperate for the cash prize. The family supports her, providing moral support as she prepares for the show. Meanwhile, Nick and Janey struggle with their own affairs, with Nick coming to the realization that he is not as young as he thinks he is, and Janey struggling with the emotional consequences of a recent breakup. Despite her struggles, Susan manages to make it through the show and eventually wins the prize money she was hoping for. However, the family is not entirely happy for her as they can see how desperate she has become. In the end, Susan realizes that the money is not worth the emotional toll it has taken on her, and she returns to her life with a newfound appreciation for the simple pleasures of life.
