My Antonio was a reality dating show that aired on VH1 in 2009. The show followed the life of actor Antonio Sabato Jr. as he looked for love among 13 female contestants. The show was set in Hawaii, which provided a beautiful backdrop for the romance and drama that ensued.

The premise of the show was that Sabato Jr. had recently broken up with his wife and was looking for a soulmate. The female contestants were from all over the country and had different backgrounds and personalities. Each contestant was given a nickname that Sabato Jr. would refer to them by throughout the show.

Over the course of the season, the women participated in various challenges that ranged from physical tasks to emotional tasks. The challenges were designed to help Sabato Jr. get to know the women better and see if there was a connection between them. Sabato Jr. was also given the opportunity to go on dates with the women and spend one-on-one time with them.

Throughout the show, there was tension between the women, as they vied for Sabato Jr.

It's down to the final four women. Following the dinner, Christi criticizes Antonio's decision for bringing her up for elimination: "you love me, or you don't". The next morning, the girls go horseback riding with Yvonne. During the ride, Tully rips her stomach muscle getting off her horse and is taken to the hospital. The next day, Yvonne surprises the girls with wedding dresses. She tells them that she wants them to write wedding vows and deliver them to Antonio in front of a Hawaiian justice of the peace.

The girls believe that they're all in for a fun, relaxing fishing boat date with Antonio and Yvonne. But in the middle of the ocean, he reveals that they'll be rafting ashore onto a deserted beach, where they'll need to fend for themselves for 24 hours until he returns to fetch them.

After elimination, Antonio hands out scripts for soap opera scenes that the girls will need to rehearse, shoot and screen in front of a large audience. The winner gets a date with her leading man. During rehearsals, the girls get catty -- poking fun at one another's bad acting and becoming jealous over who's getting to be in the love scenes with Antonio.

The ladies are challenged to making a clay sculpture of Antonio's nude form. Later, the group heads out clubbing, but some of the women's jealousy comes out and sours the night.

The girls compete in a Hula Challenge: whoever tells the best story of their heart through hula earns a romantic date with Antonio. Christi and Mamma have a chat about Tully, and Christi agrees to sniff out some ugly details about Tully's past and report back to Yvonne.

When Tully moves into the suite, she's greeted with suspicion and ridicule. Jen wonders aloud if Tully is actually Antonio's sister. The next day, Antonio organizes a "M'Antonio" workout to test the girls' mettle. In a test of romantic spirit, Antonio asks the women to write love-letters to him.

Everyone is still buzzing over the shock of Tully's arrival. But the shock turns to horror, as Sarah has an emotional breakdown in the middle of the night. Antonio seeks out Tully and they have their first conversation after being estranged for nearly 20 years. Tully begs for a second chance. Antonio doesn't trust her motives for being here. But he reluctantly agrees to let her stay.
